Why Sky Gathering exists
Behavioral health programs lose real money to denials that nobody has time to work. Medical necessity appeals need clinical writing. Every payer has its own channel and deadline. And the same checks get done by hand, every day.
Sky Gathering RCM was founded to do that work: get denied claims paid, and automate the checks that cause them, for facilities and the billing companies that serve them.
The founder's background
Nasim Obeid joined a behavioral health provider as an RPA engineer and was promoted to Director of AI and RPA development to lead a new revenue-cycle technology team, reporting to the executive team.
There he integrated Kipu, CollaborateMD and Stedi and built a revenue-cycle platform processing about $1M in claims a month. He is completing a Doctor of Technology at Purdue University (expected May 2027), researching how organizations adopt AI agents.
