Getting started

What is a denial review?

A 20-minute call where we look at a de-identified denial report with you: payers, reasons and ages. You learn where the money is and what to fix first.

Do you need patient data to start?

No. We start de-identified, and a BAA comes before any PHI. For SUD records, a 42 CFR Part 2 agreement too.

Where do most clients start?

With a denial audit: a fixed-fee report built from your own remits.

Scope

Which payers?

Commercial, including self-funded and out-of-network. Not Medicare, Medi-Cal or patient balances.

Which programs?

SUD detox, residential, PHP and IOP; mental health residential, PHP and IOP; eating disorder residential, PHP and IOP.

Do you replace our billers?

No. We work behind them on denials and never bill routine claims.

Pricing

How is recovery priced?

Contingency: you pay only on dollars recovered. Audits and automation projects are fixed fee.

How much is an audit?

Fixed fee from $1,250, quoted before we start.

Security

Do you use AI on our data?

Only under a BAA, and your data never trains a model. Every appeal is approved by a specialist before it is sent.

Do you log in to payer portals with bots?

No. We use clearinghouse and payer APIs. Where a payer only takes portal submissions, a person submits.

Do you contact patients?

No. We work payer-side only.
