When facilities use 0913
0913 is the intensive partial hospitalization code. Where a payer splits PHP into two tiers, the full-day program usually bills 0913 and a shorter day bills 0912.
BCBS of Mississippi's policy, for example, requires 0912 or 0913 on the UB-04 for each date of service, one unit per date, with type of bill 013X or 089X.
